Azerbaijan sends protest note to French Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Baku, February 27 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan` embassy in Paris has given a note of protest to the French Foreign Ministry over the beating of members of the Azerbaijani diaspora.

Another protest note will be presented to the French National Assembly, the Embassy said.

Azerbaijani students Mirvari Fataliyeva and Vusal Huseynov were beaten during the event titled “25 years since the Sumgayit events: current state and future prospects for the people of Nagorno-Karabakh” organized by representatives of the Armenian community at the National Assembly of France. The event was organized by member of the Assembly, pro-Armenian parliamentarian Francois Rochebloine.
