The volume of goods turnover between Azerbaijan and Ukraine has increased in the first half of this year. Due to the development of the trade-economic cooperation between the two countries the goods turnover has risen three-fold since 2002. It worked out $92,9 million in 2002, $139 million - in 2003 and 75,9 million - in the first half of 2004. Ukraine exported butter, milk products, and tractors while Azerbaijan exported polyethylene sustainable to high pressure. Public corporation Sumykhimprom (Ukraine) and Ministry of Agriculture of Azerbaijan came to agreement on construction of the chemical fertilizers plant in Azerbaijan.
