Azerbaijani Ambassador meets with Chairman of Kazakhstan Parliament Senate
Astana, March 12 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijani Ambassador Zakir Hashimov met with Chairman of the Senate of the Kazakh Parliament Kairat Mami to discuss development prospects of relations between the two countries in all spheres and expansion of inter-parliamentary cooperation.
Kairat Mami spoke of bilateral relations between Azerbaijani legislative bodies.
Touching upon economic achievements in Azerbaijan, Zakir Hashimov gave detailed information about the Karabakh problem.
The sides also exchanged views on the upcoming congress to be held by leaders of world and traditional religions in Astana.
Zakir Hashimov invited Kazakh officials to the international scientific-practical conference entitled “Muslims in the Commonwealth of Independent States: peace and sustainable development” to be held in Baku.
The Ambassador also gave information on preparation to the next summit of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking Countries in Baku.
“The friendship relations created by the national leader Heydar Aliyev and Kazakhstan’s President Nursultan Nazarbayev are continued successfully by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev,“ Zakir Hashimov noted.
