Azerbaijani chess player draws in 8th round of “Tashkent Open” International Tournament
Baku, April 22 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijani chess player Azer Mirzayev has been held to a draw by American Raset Ziyatdinov in the 8th round of the 7th “Tashkent Open” International Tournament.
Mirzayev ranks 8th in the medal table with 5.5 points.
The tournament brings together 101 grandmasters from England, the U.S., Spain, Germany, Brunei, Russia, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan.
