AZERBAIJANI DIASPORA SAYS NO TO TERROR

The tragic events in the last days in Russia - aircrafts explosions, terrorist act near the subway in Moscow, shocking tragedy in Beslan hurt our hearts - hearts of Azerbaijanis residing in Privoljsk Federal okrug and Ulyanovsk oblast of Russia. These horrible, brutal deeds are the …. - with treacherous intention and perfectly developed technique against Russia and other nations living in the area of the former USSR.
We, Azerbaijanis, resolutely and firmly state - no terrorism! No misdeeds committed by terrorists!
No religion, no mentality, no consciousness can take and perceive what bloody hands of terrorist do. In fact, terrorists are monsters, creatures without religion, nationality, without simple human’s conscience.
They issued a challenge to whole Russia, every Russian trying to intimidate and alienate us, hoping and presuming to strain the socio-political situation in the country.
Today, about two million of Azerbaijanis reside in Russia and we can not be indifferent to these developments. This land nurtured and raised many of us, gave shelter and bread, became our homeland and we will never allow anybody to invade it or try to inculcate fear, panic and diffidence in us.
The appeal signed by president of “Nizami” on behalf of all Azerbaijani Diaspora says:
We call on our compatriots to be respectful for political and social assessment of developing events, be vigilant, strictly observe laws of the Russian Federation and contribute to the order and security.
