Azerbaijani FM meets outgoing Pakistani ambassador
Baku, March 5 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan`s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has met outgoing Pakistani Ambassador to Azerbaijan Inayatullah Kakar.
Minister Elmar Mammadyarov praised friendly and partner relations between the two countries and hailed the Ambassador`s efforts to strengthen this relationship. He also went on to underline that Azerbaijan is keen to take these bilateral ties even further ahead in both bilateral and multilateral formats. Mammadyarov also thanked Pakistan for its unwavering support to Azerbaijan in the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and wished the Ambassador well in his future endeavours.
In his turn Pakistani Ambassador Inayatullah Kakar noted with satisfaction high level bilateral relations and stressed the potential to expand these ties across various areas. Expressing his country`s firm support to Azerbaijan`s just position in the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict with Ambassador reaffirmed that his country will continue its support in both bilateral format and within international organisations. Pakistani Ambassador said that he leaves Azerbaijan with pleasant impressions and reiterated his country`s interest to strengthen cooperation with Azerbaijan.
