Azerbaijani movie to be featured at Trieste Film Festival in Italy

An Azerbaijani movie "Mother and Son" will be screened at the 31st Trieste Film Festival 2020 to be held in Italy this month.
Directed by Hilal Baydarov, the film tells the story of a mother who welcomes her adult son who left home in rural Azerbaijan eight years earlier.
The Trieste Film Festival is the most important and leading Italian event celebrating Central and Eastern European films. For almost thirty years now, it has and continues to be a privileged observatory of cinematographers and authors who are often little known or completely unknown to the Italian public, and in general, to the “Western” world.
Eleven feature films will vie in the main competition of the 31st Trieste Film Festival this year.
