AZERBAIJANI PREMIER MEETS HIS KOREAN COUNTERPART
Azerbaijani Prime Minister Mr. Artur Rasizade met with Korean Premier Mr. Han Seung-soo, on Monday.
Mr. Rasizade hailed the rapidly developing relations between Azerbaijan and Korea. He underlined that reciprocal visits of President of Azerbaijan and Korea gave impetus to enhancing cooperation between the two countries.
Premier told of achievements in the country’s economy, the large-scale transport and energy projects. He touched on unresolved Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict over Nagorno Karabakh and double standards of some countries regarding this problem. Mr. Rasizade expressed his confidence that visit of the Korean delegation to Azerbaijan, including businessmen would create favorable conditions for cooperation and increase commodity turnover.
Mr. Seung-soo thanked Azerbaijani Premier for hospitality. He highly valued the national oil strategy of the country. Korean Premier underlined that his country supports peaceful solution of Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict over Nagorno Karabakh.
Cooperation in food industry, agriculture, shipbuilding, transport and humanitarian areas was also in the focus of meeting. The sides signed the memorandums of cooperation in the fields of economy, industry and energy, ecology, land register, environment protection, road building and visa free entrance.
Later, the Premiers held press conference for mass media.
