Azerbaijani-Serbian relations are based on trust and long-term partnership – EXPERT

“Azerbaijani-Serbian relations are characterized by stability, systemic nature, and are independent of the current political situation,” Serbian international security expert Vuk Vuksanović stated in the latest episode of the "Azerbaijan and the World" broadcast on the AZERTAC website.
According to him, the foundation of the partnership between Azerbaijan and Serbia was laid back in 2008, when the two sides began providing consistent diplomatic support to each other on issues of territorial integrity. He noted that shared fundamental approaches to key international issues helped create an atmosphere of trust between Baku and Belgrade, which continues to this day.
The expert added that this foundation of trust has created the preconditions for expanding bilateral cooperation in the economic and cultural spheres, as well as implementing joint initiatives at the regional level.
