Azerbaijani, Turkish higher education institutions discuss cooperation

Azerbaijan’s Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev met with executives of leading Turkish universities, visiting the country to attend the 50th anniversary event of the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction.
During the meeting with Istanbul University Rector Osman Bülent Zülfikar, Gazi University Rector Uğur Ünal, Yıldız Technical University Vice-Rector Hüseyin Yılmaz and other representatives, the parties explored cooperation opportunities, joint projects, student/teacher exchanges, highlighting shared goals for advancing higher education in both nations.
Minister Emin Amrullayev emphasized the importance of deepening educational ties with Türkiye, emphasizing the new joint initiatives as crucial for advancing both nations' higher education.
The heads of Turkish higher education institutions, in turn, hailed the current level of cooperation in education with Azerbaijan, noting the importance of increasing reciprocal visits and joint initiatives.
