Azerbaijani wrestlers gearing up for AGF CUP tournament
Baku, April 3 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijani junior and cadet freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestlers have started trainings for the AGF Cup (Wrestling Federation of Azerbaijan) tournaments to be held at the Serhedchi Olympic Sport Complex on April 18-21.
According to AGD`s website, along with the Azerbaijani athletes, the tournament will involve wrestlers from Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Georgia, Uzbekistan and Belarus.
As per the program of the tournament, the cadet free style team led by senior coach Asgarkhan Novruzov, coach Vahid Mammadov and Rovshan Hajiyev will start trainings on April 5-18, while cadet Greco-Roman style wrestlers to be led by senior coach Nuraddin Rajabov, coaches Vugar Aslanov and Rasim Agayev will train on April 1-18 respectively.
Young freestyle team to be led by senior coach Arif Abdullayev and coach Nazim Alijanov will gather on April 3-21, while young Greco-Roman team to be led by senior coach Shaban Donat, coaches Akif Aliyev and f Fuad Aliyev on April 3-18.
