Azerbaijani wrestlers win 8 European medals

Azerbaijani wrestlers have claimed 8 medals, including 2 golds at the European Championships 2017 in Novi Sad, Serbia.
Azerbaijan’s gold medals came from female wrestler Mariya Stadnik (48kg) and Giorgi Edisherashvili (57kg).
Other Azerbaijani wrestlers Ruslan Dibirhajiyev, Murad Suleymanov and Aleksandr Gostiyev grabbed silvers in 70kg, 74kg and 86kg weight classes respectively, while Alyona Kolesnik, Natalia Sinishin and Tatyana Omelchenko scooped bronze medals in the women`s 55kg, 58kg and 60kg divisions subsequently.
