Azerbaijan’s AFRA, Uztekstilprom ink memorandum on cooperation

The Azerbaijan Fashion Retail Association (AFRA) and Association of Textile and Garment Industry Enterprises of Uzbekistan (“Uztekstilprom”) have signed a memorandum of cooperation.
The document was signed by Chairman of the AFRA Board, Farid Novruzi and First Deputy Chairman of the Uztekstilprom Association, Mirmuhsin Sultanov. The memorandum envisages exchange of information between the two organizations, cooperation in textile industry, and exploring of mutual investment opportunities.
Farid Novruzi met with the delegation led by Mirmuhsin Sultanov to discuss AFRA’s cooperation opportunities and explore the ways of softening price policy for clothing imported to Azerbaijan.
The delegation of Uzbekistan proposed to the members of the AFRA to consider possibilities of joint use of production sites in their territory.
