AZERBAIJAN’S DEPUTY FOREIGN MINISTER VISITS KUWAIT
Mr. Pashayev met Kuwait’s some top officials, including Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Khalid Jarullah.
They discussed ways of further strengthening bilateral relations, expanding cooperation in various spheres, as well as international and regional issues of mutual interests.
In his meeting with Abdulaziz al-Sharikh, rector of Kuwait Diplomatic Institute, Mr. Pashayev briefed his colleague on Azerbaijan’s social and political life, rapid economic development, conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan over Nagorno-Karabakh, as well as on Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy.
They agreed to exchange information about Arabian Gulf countries, the Caucasus and Eurasia, to organize courses for both countries` diplomats to improve their qualifications in international relations.
They also agreed to develop a draft agreement on cooperation between Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy and Kuwait Diplomatic Institute.
Kuwait mass media largely highlighted the visit by Hafiz Pashayev.
