Azerbaijan’s Digital Development Minister discusses ICT cooperation with Ookla President

Rashad Nabiyev, Minister of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan, met with Stephen Bye, President and CEO of Ookla, during his visit to Baku.
"We met with Stephen Bye, President and CEO of Ookla, who is currently visiting Baku. We discussed cooperation in the field of ICT and the implementation of joint projects.
Stephen Bye noted that access to broadband internet in Azerbaijan has increased fourfold over the past four years, describing it as a significant achievement.
The Ookla President emphasized that internet service quality indicators in Azerbaijan are measured by operators and providers using the 'Speedtest' tool. Based on the results, the median speed of fixed broadband internet in the country has doubled over the past year," Minister Rashad Nabiyev shared on his official Facebook page.
