Azerbaijan’s Economic Council convenes another meeting

On June 24, Prime Minister Ali Asadov chaired another meeting of Azerbaijan’s Economic Council.
The agenda covered several key topics, including a detailed discussion on the implementation status and initiatives undertaken in line with the tasks assigned to the Government pursuant to Presidential Decree No. 268, dated December 27, 2024. Discussions focused on the electronic submission of entrepreneurs' applications to state institutions, the digitalization of services, the creation of the "Mygov Biznes" subsystem, and the provision of non-digitalized state services through "ASAN Khidmet". Other issues addressed included the optimization of public services and payment processes, as well as the review of the amounts and legal basis of service fees.
The meeting heard a report by Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov.
Minister of Justice Farid Ahmadov, Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev, and Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ulvi Mehdiyev also addressed the meeting. Extensive discussions were held on the tasks arising from the Presidential Order.
At the conclusion of the meeting, decisions were adopted, and relevant bodies were instructed to take appropriate actions on the matters discussed.
