“Azerbaijan in its region where it is situated is playing an important role as a stabilizing factor. Our initiatives aim at the regional cooperation, predictability, and the strengthening of security measures in our region,” President Ilham Aliyev has said at the opening ceremony of the 5th Global Baku Forum.
“Azerbaijan is a country, whose geography to certain degree predetermines its role in the region, and we are investing in the dialogue of civilizations and cultures.” “Azerbaijan has already hosted a number of international events. These events are important, first of all, in terms of addressing important issues on the global agenda,” the head of state added.
