Azerbaijan`s beach football team will play Italian rivals at the World Cup qualifier in Benidorm, Spain, Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA) said.

Azerbaijan is drawn in European Zone`s C group, and will face Norway on May 12, while Greece the next day.

The European Zone includes 24 teams competing for 4 licenses in 6 groups. The top two teams of each group will move to the next level.

The four teams that will reach the semifinal will earn the right to compete in the 2008 World Cup to be held in Marseille, France.
