AZERI ENVOY IN HAVANA MEETS CUBAN FOREIGN TRADE MINISTER
Azerbaijan`s Ambassador in Havana Agshin Mehdiyev met with Cuban Foreign Trade Minister Raul de la Nuez Ramirez.
During the conversation, the Cuban minister said relations between the two countries are developing dynamically and successfully.
He recalled last month trip by Raul Bessera, president of Cuba`s Chamber of Commerce, to Baku, and described it as a success.
Agshin Mehdiyev said there are good prospects for developing Azerbaijan-Cuba cooperation in various fields.
Later the same day, the Azeri envoy gave a speech at the European Studies Center, during which he highlighted his country`s Nagorno-Karabakh conflict with Armenia.
Mehdiyev said the whole international community backs Azerbaijan`s stance on the dispute, and that the adoption of the “Resolution on the situation in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan” at the UN General Assembly`s 62nd session is a vivid evidence of this.
