AZERI FM MEETS POLISH LEADER
Azerbaijan`s Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmar Mammadyarov met Poland`s President Lech Kaczynski on the last day of his official trip to Warsaw.
Lech Kaczynski described Azerbaijan as Poland`s strategic partner. He said Azerbaijan represents huge interest in terms of energy security not only for Poland, but also for the whole European Union.
Elmar Mammadyarov said Azerbaijan places a particular emphasis on the development of its relationships with Poland, adding this is very important for his country in terms of the European integration.
During the conversation, they also discussed the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, regional cooperation, energy dialogue and joint fight against international threats.
The Azerbaijani FM`s itinerary also saw him meet Vicemarshal of the Sejm Jaroslaw Kalinowski.
