AzerTAc`s article on Khojaly genocide published in Egyptian newspaper
Cairo, March 2 (AZERTAC). The Egypt`s Al-Alem Al-Youm newspaper has published AZERTAC`s article "Islamic countries support Azerbaijan in Khojaly genocide issue".
AZERTAC`s reporter Asya Hajizade`s article narrates on the aggression of Armenia against Azerbaijan and Khojaly genocide.
The article says Azerbaijanis were displaced from their homes in the wake of the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict. It touched upon the Khojaly genocide and killings of hundreds of civilians by Armenian terrorists.
The author underlines that all documents adopted by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation of the Khojaly genocide demonstrate solidarity with Azerbaijan on international recognition. The Justice or Khojaly international campaign was launched at the initiative of Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, general coordinator for intercultural dialogue of the Islamic Cooperation Organization Youth Forum Leyla Aliyeva. Azerbaijan`s diplomatic missions in foreign countries conduct awareness-raising campaigns as part of the Justice for Khojaly. So far, the Khojaly tragedy was recognized as a genocide by Mexican Senate, Pakistani Senate`s Foreign Relations Committee, Columbian parliament, as well as house of representatives of the US State of Massachusetts, States of Texas, New-Jersey and Georgia.
