Berlin hosts meeting with Azerbaijani People’s Artist Fakhraddin Manafov

Azerbaijani People’s Artist Fakhraddin Manafov met with his compatriots residing in Germany at the Azerbaijan Cultural Center in Berlin.
Supported by Azerbaijan’s State Committee on Work with Diaspora and the Alliance of Azerbaijanis in Germany, the event played an important role in promoting Azerbaijani art and strengthening national cultural ties among Azerbaijanis living abroad.
The event commenced with the screening of a video featuring excerpts from films starring the renowned Azerbaijani artist.
In his remarks, Emin Salayev, Chairman of the Board of the Alliance of Azerbaijanis in Germany, noted that the meeting with a great artist such as Fakhraddin Manafov reflects the active involvement of Azerbaijani diaspora members and also contributes to growing interest in Azerbaijani culture among Azerbaijani youth.
Addressing the event, People’s Artist Fakhraddin Manafov spoke about his rich artistic journey.
Other speakers included People’s Artist Ashraf Heybatov, Advisor to the Azerbaijani Ambassador to Germany Samir Rzayev, and diaspora activist Bella Salayeva.
