BILL "ON STATE SECRET" READY FOR DISCUSSION
As was informed by AzerTAj, discussed were the bills "On state secret" and "On approval of Agreement "On cooperation between the governments of Azerbaijan Republic and the government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in the field of combat against international terrorism and organized crime".
Deputy speaker of Azerbaijan Parliament, chairman of the standing committee Ziyafet Askarov noted that there were taken into account some suggestions made by the MPs in the course of discussions. The Article 29, connected to disclosure of state secret in mass media was completely excluded form the bill.
In the course of discussion of the second question, it was noted that Azerbaijani holds one of the leading positions among the states combating terrorism, and has joined more than 10 relevant Conventions. And the latest Agreement signed with the Islamic Republic of Pakistan is one of them and fully meets national interests of the Country.
The parliamentarians decided to submit the bills for consideration at the Milli Majlis.
