Boxer Albert Salimov grabs 19th gold for Azerbaijan

Baku, June 27, AZERTAC

Azerbaijani boxer Albert Salimov has added the 19th gold to Azerbaijan`s medal tally at the first European Games.

He secured the medal thanks to a victory over French Sofiane Oumhia in the men`s 60kg.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, his wife, chairperson of the Baku 2015 First European Games Organizing Committee Mehriban Aliyeva and family members watched the final bout.
