CEC CHAIRMAN MEETS WITH AMBASSADORS
Having thanked for the meeting, the diplomats have expressed intention to carry out exchange of views on forthcoming municipal elections. Ambassador Rino Harnish has especially emphasized growth of professionalism of the Central Election Commission and was interested in the work, which is carried out by the Commission in connection with preparation for municipal elections.
Mr. Panahov has in detail informed on process of specification of lists of voters in the subordinate election commissions, reception of election documents, approval and registration of candidates in members of the municipalities, instructions, explanations and rules adopted by the Central Election Commission, samples of the documents authorized by it, and on other questions. He has emphasized that by this time the Central Election Commission has not get complaints from the candidates connected to registration, also has noted, that only in the oral form some people have expressed discontent which operatively was reacted.
Mr. Panahov has thanked for the help, has expressed satisfaction with cooperation both with the international structures and diplomatic representatives of the foreign states in the country.
Having expressed a wish about similar regular meetings with diplomats, Chairman of CEC has addressed them with request to provide participation of employees of embassies represented by them in sessions of the Central Election Commission. It will promote reception of trustworthy information by them about activity of the Central Election Commission.
