CIS OBSERVERS SAY NO IRREGULARITIES RECORDED
“5 observers visited five polling stations in the Mingachevir constituency No47 to monitor presidential vote in Azerbaijan. Since early hours, many people have gathered in front of polling stations. There were no obstacles for voters to cast their ballot. Preparation for and organization of the election was at a high level. There are no complainants. No one expressed his dissatisfaction with any question. We witnessed there were no regulators in the poling stations. Representatives of both pro-governmental and opposition parties did not express any dissatisfaction with the voting process. We witnessed high turnout and did not observe any irregularities. We visited the polling station where IDPs voted. Their turnout was higher,” head of a team of the OSCE observation mission in Mingachevir, Belarus ambassador to Azerbaijan Nikolay Paskevich told AZERTAC.
