COMMEMORATIVE CEREMONIES ON KHOJALY GENOCIDE TO BE HELD IN AUSTRALIA
The Australia-based Azerbaijani Society will organize commemorative ceremonies on the 16th anniversary of the Khojaly Genocide in Sidney. The ceremonies will bring together Turkish and Iraqi Turkmen communities.
During a conference to be held in Sidney with the participation of media representatives, video films on the Armenian savagery will be demonstrated with photos being exhibited.
The conference will also adopt an appeal to the Parliament of Australia and other state bodies to make positive assessment to the Khojaly Genocide, as well as Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
“Azeri” New Zealand-Azerbaijan Friendship Society functioning in Oakland city of New Zealand on February 24-25 will distribute brochures on the Genocide in the country’s “Botany Downs” trade center.
“Karabakh realities” booklets published by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and its CD and DVD versions will be distributed among the media outlets, as well as some members of New Zealand Parliament.
