The Milli Majlis Standing Commission on Natural Resources, Energy and Ecological Affairs held a sitting on 25 August to hear the Commission’s report on the results of the 2004 spring and extraordinary sessions, discuss the plan for the 2004 Fall Session and current issues.

It was noted that the Commission’s plan of actions envisioned by the 2004 spring and extraordinary sessions had been mainly fulfilled. It held 8 sittings considering 19 issues; 13 draft laws submitted by the President as legislative initiative were presented to the Milli Majlis.

Members of the Commission also heard the information on the draft laws submitted for discussion to the Milli Majlis jointly with the Standing Commissions for Agrarian and Economic Policy, and approved the plan of its work during the 2004 Fall session.
