COMPUTER TRAINING CENTER INAUGURATED IN GEORGIA
The computer training center has been today inaugurated in Dmanisi region of Georgia. The center has been built with Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s funding.
Speaking at the conference were governor of the Kvemo Kartli-Borchaly region David Kirkiladze, MP Zurab Melikashvili, Education Minister of Georgia Givi Nodiya, Azerbaijan`s ambassador to Georgia Namig Aliyev, executive director of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Anar Alakbarov, MP Ganira Pashayeva. It was noted at the event that President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO and ISESCO goodwill ambassador, MP, Mehriban Aliyeva pay special attention to problems of Azerbaijanis living abroad.
The building has been provided with up-to-date equipment. There is a photo stand reflecting President of the Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva`s activity. The center has two big halls, library, and canteen.
All 70 computers here have internet connection allowing both Azerbaijani and Georgian children to take free classes. Children will study English, Azerbaijani and Georgian languages.
The Heydar Aliyev Foundation has provided the center with textbooks, CDs and DVDs.
The ceremony was continued with the concert program of Azerbaijani and Georgian artists.
