CONFERENCE “ROLE OF MEDIA IN DRUG ADDICTION PROPHYLAXIS” HELD IN BAKU.
Conference titled “Role of Media in Drug Addiction Prophylaxis” organized by the South Caucasus Anti-Drug (SCAD) Program, Azerbaijani State Commission for Fighting Illegal Drugs Turnover, Ministry of Youth and Sports, National Television and Radio Council of Azerbaijan (NTRC) took place in Park Inn-Azerbaijan Hotel, on Thursday.
Head of SCAD program Mazahir Afandiyev underlined that aim of the event is to inform the people, especially the young generation on heavy consequences of the drug addiction, the work done by Azerbaijani government in this area as well as attract the mass media in fighting illegal drugs turnover.
EU expert for SCAD Program Richard Ives delivered report on drug addiction prophylaxis.
