Contestants of “Through Victory Roads” international auto racing visit Baku
Baku, June 11 (AZERTAC). Participants of “Through Victory Roads” international auto racing, initiated by Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, chairwoman of the Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia Leyla Aliyeva, have visited Baku.
Twenty-four Russian participants of the racing have driven around Guba, Gabala and Baku on eight cars decorated with flags and banners.
Supported by the Russian Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia and Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Youth and Sports, the racing started on May 6 as part of the project called “Our Common Victory” and has passed through Saint-Petersburg, Baku and Moscow.
The event is aimed at building and developing relations among patriotic societies of CIS countries, as well as increasing interest in the history of the Great Patriotic War and Azerbaijan.
