COOPERATION BETWEEN REGIONS OF AZERBAIJAN AND UKRAINE STRENGTHENED
Strengthening of friendly relations between Shamkir region and Zavodskoy district in Nikolayev town of Ukraine from this standpoint opens new opportunities for local businessmen.
On the initiative of the Azerbaijan Embassy to Ukraine, representatives of Diaspora and a delegation led by Head of the Zavodskoy district Administration Vladimir Klimenko visited recently Shamkir, Azerbaijan.
During the meeting in Shamkir, its participants especially noted that reciprocal visits for effective links between the regions, signing of contracts in line with economic possibilities and interests of both sides would also contribute to strengthening friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
The guests showed particular interest in Turkey-Azerbaijan Joint Venture “Azeri Gayalar” and poltry farm of the “New Century Ltd.” They highly valued the conditions created by the Government for Azerbaijani businessmen.
Members of the Ukrainian delegation also met with refugees and IPDs temporarily placed in Shamkir and presented gifts to them.
