CUSTOMS DEPARTMENTS OF AZERBAIJAN AND UKRAINE SIGN AGREEMENT
In the document, aiming at realization of the Agreement dated 27 March 1997 on cooperation in the customs affairs between the governments of Ukraine and Azerbaijan, it is stipulated development by the customs services of both countries of cooperation and rendering mutual assistance in the field of professional training and raising qualification of the personnel, exchange of experience in the field of customs affairs, joint elaboration of methods, conducting scientific researches, organizing seminars, scientific-practical arrangements, preparation of methodical literature, training accessories, exchange of scientific editions on customs affairs, other joint actions.

The same day, chairman of the state customs service of Ukraine Nikolay Kalensky has visited the Main Department of statistics and information technologies to become familiar with the rules of use of them in the customs system of Azerbaijan in combat against smuggling and violation of customs rules, also interested in the activity of the Department.
