Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis marked abroad
Baku, December 30 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan`s Embassy in France jointly with the country`s permanent representation at UNESCO has hosted an event on the occasion of the Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis and the New year.
Ambassador Elchin Amirbayov highlighted the role of world Azerbaijanis on holding such events.
He also said that Azerbaijani house, which was established 20 years ago in Paris, restarted its activity, adding the Embassy was always ready to support the Azerbaijani house`s activity.
Speaking the event, Chairperson of the Azerbaijani House in France Mirvari Fataliyeva said that alliances interests to Azerbaijani culture had increased over the last years, adding the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the Embassy, the European Azerbaijan Society, as well as the country`s representation at the UNESCO had held series of events, exhibitions, conferences on this occasion.
She also noted that the aim of the organization was to strengthen the activity in the relevant direction.
The Chairwoman touched upon the upcoming events.
The event also featured the performance of Azerbaijani music and the national dances.

Another event on Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis has been held at the country`s Embassy in Romania.
The event has brought together Azerbaijanis living and studying in Romania, members the Romania Representation of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, as well as officials and representatives of the Managerial Staff of the Azerbaijan-Romania Friendship Society, Azerbaijan-Romania Youth Cultural Association, Romania-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce and Industry and SOCAR Representation in Romania.
Addressing the event, Azerbaijan`s Ambassador to Romania congratulated the World Azerbaijanis on the Day of Solidarity. He read out President Ilham Aliyev`s congratulatory letter.
He also said that the policy of national leader Heydar Aliyev successfully continuing by President Ilham Aliyev.
The Ambassador also touched upon the steps around the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, as well as holding the meetings on this direction.
Mr. Hasanov praised the activities of the Azerbaijan-Romania Friendship Society, as well as the Azerbaijan-Romania Youth Cultural Association, the Romania-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, adding these communities had great contributions to strengthening the cooperative relations between the two countries.
He stressed the necessity of intensifying the ties in the relevant field.
The event participants were also briefed on the progress achieved by the Embassy in the direction of development of Azerbaijani and Romanian relations.

Azerbaijan`s Embassy in UAE jointly with Azerbaijan” Society has hosted an event marking the Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis.
Azerbaijanis living and studying in UAE, representatives of the local society and Media attended the event.
The congratulatory letter by President Ilham Aliyev addressing the World Azerbaijanis has been read out at the event.
Speaking the event, Consul General in Dubai Parviz Ismailzadeh said that the country`s achievements in the political, economical, cultural, social, educational, sport and the other spheres were associated with national leader Heydar Aliyev`s name.
Chairman of the “Azerbaijan” Society in the UAE Samir Imanov provided information about the Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis.
The event also featured the demonstration of the documentary on Azerbaijan`s history and development.
The participants were presented books, magazines, journals on Azerbaijan.
An article covering the event was published in the famous “Gulf news” magazine of UAE.
