DELEGATION OF FRANCE UNDERGONE TO FIRE
In the information distributed by the press-service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country, the fact of fire was confirmed by the delegation of France visiting one of the central hospitals of capital of Haiti.
The state secretary, also confirming the event, has stated that during visiting by delegation of the hospital headed by him about hundred armed persons have made on them an attack and have fired at them. The Haitian policemen have surrounded and thus have protected the French delegation, have opened reciprocal fire. Firing proceeded more than one and a half hours. In result, one of the attackers has been killed, and one French soldier and one Haitian policeman have received easy wounds.
