One of the leading world companies for production and sale of INTEL computers held “Week of digital technologies” in Baku.

At the press conference held in Baku business-center on the results of week, the participants noted that exhibition reflecting latest achievements of INTEL in the field of computer technology was opened and seminar held.

The key goal is to promote widely spread of the computer technologies in Azerbaijan, study the latest innovations, and raise the computer knowledge of young specialists.

Director General of ULTRA company, Tahir Mirkishili, one of the organizers of this arrangement told AzerTAj correspondent that after participation of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in “World Summit for information society”, in Geneva, in 2003, on the initiative and instructions of the head of state, national strategy of information and communication technologies was elaborated in the country. Today, Azerbaijan possesses with the most progressive information technologies in CIS and all over the world.
