Earthquake hits Khachmaz district of Azerbaijan

An earthquake struck Azerbaijan’s Khachmaz district, according to the Bureau for Earthquake Research of the Republican Seismic Survey Center.
The earthquake, recorded at 05:58 local time, had a magnitude of 3.1.
The epicenter of the earthquake was located at a depth of 45 kilometers.
