Education UK exhibition opens in Baku
Education UK exhibition organized by the British Council has today opened in Baku.
Addressing the opening ceremony, British Council`s Country Director to Azerbaijan Elizabeth White briefed the event participants on the exhibition, saying the goal of the exhibition was to inform students and youth about the wide opportunities of educational system in the United Kingdom. The exhibition brings together 43 British universities, schools, colleges and language courses.
She said the British universities were keen to expand relations with Azerbaijani educational institutions.
Noting the role of education in the modern world, British Ambassador to Azerbaijan Irfan Siddiq stressed the importance of the exhibition. He said Azerbaijani youth were interested in studying in British universities.
The exhibition will end on November 2.
