EXHIBITION OF WORKS OF TURKIC ARTISTS OPENED IN PARIS
Director of the Center Serpil Varon stressed that the exhibition is of great significance to popularize the pieces of art of Turkic peoples.
President of TURKSOY, Minister of Culture of Azerbaijan Polad Bulbuloglu noted that the organization aims at popularizing the Turkic world in American and European countries. He said that the exhibition would conduct in New York and London.
36 works by artists of 12 Turkic peoples are exhibited there. Azerbaijani artist Ismayil Asadoglu presented his picture “Ovchu” while Rashad Mehdiyev - two pictures of series “Chanakkala Thoughts”.
Ambassador of Turkey to France Uluj Ozulker noted that such exhibitions play a major role in popularizing Turkic peoples having ancient and rich culture and art not only in Europe but also worldwide.
Ambassador of Azerbaijan to France Eleonora Huseynova, officers of Turkish and Azerbaijani embassies attended the opening ceremony.
Exhibition will run until April 22.
