Ganja celebrates August 30 - Turkiye’s Victory Day

An event dedicated to August 30 – Victory Day was held at the Consulate General of Turkiye in Ganja.
The event began with a minute of silence to honor the memory of Azerbaijani and Turkish martyrs, followed by the playing of the national anthems of both countries. A religious figure then recited prayers for the souls of the martyrs.
The Consul General of Turkiye in Ganja, Recep Öztop, spoke about the significance of the historic victory achieved in the struggle for the independence and sovereignty of the Republic of Turkiye.
Adil Taghiyev, Deputy Head of the Ganja City Executive Authority, emphasized that this day is a source of pride for Azerbaijanis as much as it is for the Turkish people. He expressed confidence that the relations between the two brotherly countries would continue to strengthen.
The event concluded with the screening of a historical documentary film dedicated to August 30 - Victory Day.
