GERMAN AMBASSADOR COMPLETES HIS MISSION IN AZERBAIJAN

Ambassador of the Federative Republic of Germany to Azerbaijan Klaus Grewlich held 30 August a press conference on the occasion of completing his diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan.

He first touched upon Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev’s visit to Germany stressing its great importance for development of bilateral relationship between the two countries.

Mr. Grewlich noted as well that for three-year diplomatic activity in Azerbaijan he loved the country and its people, expressed his admiration for our people’s tolerance to religions and cultures, and recalled the promise he made to nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev: I am not only ambassador of Germany to Azerbaijan but also that of Azerbaijan to Germany. The diplomat said he is today devoted to these words and will worthily represent Azerbaijan in Germany.

Finally, Mr. Klaus Grewlich responded to questions from journalists.
