GERMANY RENDERED ASSISTANCE TO AZERBAIJAN REFUGEES AT AMOUNT 350 THOUSAND EUROS
As was informed by AzerTAj, it was stated by ambassador of the Federative Republic of Germany to Azerbaijan Mr. Klause Grewlich at the news conference held at the ISR-Plaza hotel. The Ambassador presented head of the Azerbaijan representation of the UN High Commissioner for refugees Bogdan Nahajlo and collaborator on the program Ms. Amra Nuhbekovich relevant information on distribution of these means.
It was stated that 150 thousands Euros will be spent for necessary medical provision, 150 thousands for improvement of living conditions of the refugees and 50 thousands for international support for the refugees seeking asylum who came to Azerbaijan from the foreign countries.
Mr. Klause Grewlish reminded that his country hitherto, has rendered assistance to Azerbaijan at amount of 303,3 million Euros. Of them, 140 million Euros was set aside in the frame of cooperation with the European Union, 130,3 million Euros – in the frame of bilateral cooperation, and 33 million Euros – in the frame of technical cooperation.
