GERMANY SHOWS BIG INTEREST TO AZERBAIJAN

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Republic Elmar Mammadyarov at the meeting with the expert on military-political questions of Germany Wilhelm Herman highly has estimated the relations developed between Azerbaijan and Germany. Marking satisfaction with the development of relations in political, economic, cultural and military spheres, the Minister has expressed hope that cooperation would become stronger and henceforth.

As was informed to AzerTAj from the press center of the ministry, the head of foreign policy department of the Republic has in detail informed the visitor on political situation in Azerbaijan, realization of democratic reforms, and also the work aimed at settlement of the Armenia -Azerbaijan, Nagorny Karabakh conflict. Wilhelm Herman, in turn, having emphasized the big interest shown recently to Azerbaijan by the countries of Europe, including Germany, has noted importance of development of military ties established nowadays. He has told that the Armenia -Azerbaijan, Nagorny Karabakh conflict would be shortly settled by peace way.

At the meeting, also were exchanged views on some questions, representing mutual interest.
