Governer of Iran's Gilan province visits Lankaran district

A delegation led by Governor of Iran's Gilan province Mohammadali Najafi has visited Azerbaijan`s Lankaran district to meet head of Lankaran City Executive Authority Taleh Garashov.
Taleh Garashov hailed the development of political and economic relations between the two countries. He noted that after the reciprocal official visits of the presidents of Azerbaijan and Iran in 2014, bilateral relations between the two countries entered a new stage.
Highlighting the successful cooperation between the two countries in a variety of fields of economy, Mohammadali Najafi said that they were interested in strengthening bilateral relations with Lankaran.
The meeting also discussed prospects of cooperation between Gilan and Lankaran in economic, trade and humanitarian spheres.
