‘Icelandic companies are ready to operate in Azerbaijan’

Baku, December 3, AZERTAC

Azerbaijan`s Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov has met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Iceland Thordis Kolbrun Reykfjord Gylfadottir on the sidelines of the 28th meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council in Stockholm.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on relations between the two countries, especially on the prospects of developing cooperation in the field of alternative energy.

Noting that Iceland has extensive experience in this field, it was stressed that companies of Iceland are ready to operate in Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of cooperation within international organizations, including the OSCE.

The sides also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
