IN HONOUR OF THE NATIONAL HOLIDAY OF SAUDI ARABIA
The plenipotentiary ambassador of Saudi Arabia in Azerbaijan Republic Ali Hasan Jafar has noted, that within 72 years passed since the time of proclamation of the Kingdom on September 23, 1932, his country has turned to the advanced, powerful Islamic state.
The ambassador has emphasized, that relations between Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia have deep historical roots and successfully develop due to the policy of heads of both countries.
Speaking at the reception, vice-chairperson of Milli Majlis Govhar Bakhshaliyeva on behalf of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has congratulated people of Saudi Arabia on the national holiday.
The vice-chairperson of parliament has noted, that last years the connections between the legislative bodies of Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia also have made development. She has especially emphasized, that Saudi Arabia always supported and now supports the fair position of Azerbaijan in the question of the peace settlement of the Nagorny Karabakh problem.
Vice-chairmen of parliament, ministers, ambassadors of foreign countries in Baku and other officials, representatives of the public took part in the reception.
