IN THE CENTRAL ELECTION COMMISSION OF AZERBAIJAN REPUBLIC
Protocols of sittings of the Central Election Commission on August 17 and 19, 2004 have been approved.
Then, secretary of the Central Election Commission Natig Mammadov spoke of the project of Rules of check by the election commissions of reliability of the data available in subscription sheets, and also in the documents submitted by candidates, political parties, the block of political parties. The Commission has approved the said document.
The secretary of Central Election Commission Vidadi Mahmudov has informed on projects of samples of some election documents at elections in Milli Majlis and municipalities. The Central Election Commission has ratified samples of the mentioned documents.
The Commission has adopted decision on modification in structure of the election commissions of Narimanov, Nesimi, Khatai, Kepez, (Ganja), Yevlakh-Mingachevir, Ujar and Geranboy-Naftalan district constituencies.
Also were discussed current questions.
Representatives of the International Fund of Electoral Systems, embassy of the USA, local mass media took part at the sitting.
