INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION ON RISE

Taking into account the industrial production in domestic economies, as well as work of natural persons operating in industry, the volume of production and services totaled 15,5 trillion manats in Jan-July, AzerTAj correspondent learnt from the State Stats Committee. It is by 4,4 percent higher than that of the same period last year. The production made up 93,7 percents of the total volume of output while services – 6,3 percent.

The production volume in the private sector increased by 2,7 percents while its share in the volume of industrial production worked out 55 percents.

258 joint-stock companies have operated for seven months of 2004 and produced production and services worth 1 trillion 418,0 billion manats (9,3 percent higher than that of the same period last year). It makes up 9,2 percent of the total production volume.
