INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON TURKIC DASTANS
Addressing the symposium university rector, Prof. Erol Oral told of the historical roots of Turkic peoples, literary sources, in particular, dastans that preserved national and spiritual values of Turkic peoples.
Director of the Folklore Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan Husein Ismayilov told of the unique services of great son of Turkic world Heydar Aliyev in protecting and preserving national-spiritual values.
Chief of the Ataturk Center, ANAS corresponding member, Milli Majlis deputy Nizami Jafarov, professor of the Ataturk University of Turkey Bilga Seyidoglu, professor of the university Gazi Ojal Ouz and professor of the Ashgabad Interstate Turkmen Turkic University Murat Soyegov told of the Turkic dastans and their main points.
