JAKARTA POST PUBLISHES ARTICLE ON BAKU INTERNATIONAL FORUM
Jakarta Post, the largest English-language newspaper in Indonesia, published the article on the Baku international forum entitled “Expanding the role of women in the cross-cultural dialogue”
According to the Azerbaijani embassy in Indonesia, the article says OIC Secretary General Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu said in his speech that First Lady of Azerbaijan, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva had become OIC goodwill ambassador.
Ihsanoglu said Islam world needs such a famous person like Mehriban Aliyeva who can provide assistance to people in disaster-hit regions.
The newspaper says Mehriban Aliyev` activity is focused on education for women, assistance to orphans, charity and sport development.
